Dear Friends,

Thank you for another great year at GreatCollections.  We continue to be grateful for everyone's support.

We handled a lot more coins in 2016 compared to 2015 - not only in the number of coins but also the total value.  We're offering more and more fresh collections, coins that have been put away for years, like the 1895 Proof Morgan we sold for a record $107,250, or very recently, the Sierra Madre Collection of U.S. Gold, many of which have set the all-time record for the date/grade.  The respective consignors of these coins chose our firm for our personalized service - something we never want to change as our business grows.

Looking ahead to 2017:

January is already shaping up to be a very busy month.  Raeleen and I will both be attending the FUN show in Florida this week.  This year it's being held in Fort Lauderdale and we will be at the show all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday at table 1016.

A few days after FUN, we have a table at the NYINC - a first for us, since it's usually held the same time as FUN.  This year, the dates don't overlap so we're able to attend the show and have a table (M8).

If you are attending either (or both) shows, please stop by and say hello.  We will have highlights from future auctions on display.

In the next week or two, we will be releasing more information about a significant collection of CAC-approved coins that we will be auctioning in February, March and April.  The collection includes hundreds of coins and is valued at over $500,000.

And finally, we will be adding to our team at GreatCollections soon...it's long overdue (just ask our A-team).
