How did the king of Morgan Dollars - an 1895 Proof - end up in circulation? Who carried an 1836 Gobrecht Dollar in their pocket for years? And then there's the 1792 Half Disme, perhaps minted with George Washington's personal silver and widely considered the first coin of the United States. This last coin was discovered in a coin dealer's junk box earlier this year. But until 2021, where was it hiding?
