Superb 1889-CC Morgan Dollar PCGS MS-63 DMPL CAC, Maxine Collection of CAC Approved Gold...

Welcome to this week's Top Ten List from GreatCollections, for our Sunday, November 5th auctions, our first day of auctions in November.  Don't miss the 5000+ certified coins and notes on offer.

Our November auctions are poised to be one of the most important in our company's history.  Each week has major highlights.

One of the single highlights is the 1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar, which was recently graded for the first time as PCGS MS-63 DMPL with CAC approval.

The Maxine Collection of CAC Approved U.S. Gold Coins is a standout collection - including the Civil War dated 1863 $20 PCGS MS-62+ with CAC approval.

Other collections include the Sunset Collection, Schwenk Collection, Neon Lights Collection & more.

And although these ten auctions might be perfect for what you're looking for, please be aware that this is only a tiny percentage of the whole auction.  Each week, GreatCollections auctions over 4,000 certified coins and banknotes!  So, if you don't see anything of interest below, be sure to browse our categories or view all upcoming auctions.

Happy collecting!

- Ian

Number 10:

1893-CC Morgan Silver Dollar NGC MS-64

This key date Morgan Dollar is part of a nice collection being sold this week - the 1893-CC Morgan Dollar NGC MS-64.

Sold for $14,692.50  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (15 Bids)

Number 9:

Fr. 303 1908 $10 Silver Certificate Note Vernon / McClung PCGS Currency Gem New 65

Paper money is well represented this week, with this 1908 $10 Silver Certificates being one of the highlights. Graded by PCGS Currency as Gem New 65.

Sold for $8,437.50  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (1 Bid)

Number 8:

Peru ND Casa De Moneda Lima Gold Ingot Uncertified (AGW = 9.001 oz.)

Although undated, this gold ingot from the Casa De Moneda (Mint) in Peru is rare. We've not handled one before, and we've only found a few in our extensive library sold by others.

Sold for $19,960.88  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (42 Bids)

Number 7:

1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar PCGS AU-50 OGH

This 1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar is from an estate we have been handling for the past five or six years.

Sold for $6,356.25  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (14 Bids)

Number 6:

1846 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar PCGS MS-64 (CAC Green) (Toned)

We love this Seated Dollar from the 1840s - graded PCGS MS-64 with CAC approval.

Sold for $10,856.25  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (44 Bids)

Number 5:

1881 Liberty Gold Double Eagle PCGS VF-20 OGH

Very few 1883 Liberty Gold Double Eagles exist today - this example was obviously in circulation, but is still exceedingly rare.

Sold for $23,175.00  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (28 Bids)

Number 4:

1803 Capped Bust Gold Eagle Extra Star in Cloud PCGS AU-58 (CAC Green)

Early Fives and Tens are strongly contested in today's market - simply because they sell for very reasonable amounts compared to rarer Morgan Dollars or other series. I can't imagine a nicer almost uncirculated 1803 $10 as this PCGS AU-58 with CAC approval.

Sold for $47,812.50  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (33 Bids)

Number 3:

1900 Lafayette Dollar NGC MS-65+ (CAC Green)

GreatCollections has had the honor of selling several segments of the Neon Lights Collection - and this Layfayette Dollar is one of the highlights this week.

Sold for $6,789.38  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (37 Bids)

Number 2:

1863 Liberty Gold Double Eagle PCGS MS-62+ (CAC Green)

Right during the middle of the Civil War, somehow this 1863 Liberty Gold Double Eagle survived in uncirculated condition. Graded PCGS MS-62+ with CAC approval. This is one of the highlights from the Maxine Collection.

Sold for $61,031.25  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (31 Bids)

And Number 1:

1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS-63 DMPL (CAC Green)

This 1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar was graded for the first time only recently. Superb - and exactly what you would like to see for a 1889-CC DMPL. Graded PCGS MS-63 DMPL with CAC approval.

Sold for $90,562.50  (incl. Buyer's Fee)  (46 Bids)
