Welcome to this week's Top Ten List from GreatCollections.


This week features more from the  Gerald Forsythe Collection of Shield Nickels, the all-time #1 collection of the series, which we are presenting over several weeks of auctions.  The collection includes Business Strikes, Proofs and even Patterns, and all are being sold unreserved.  


We're also auctioning a recently discovered $10 Red Seal National from Palo Alto, California, a high grade 1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent, tied for finest 1864 Small Motto Two-Cent Piece, 1864 Three-Dollar Gold and much more.

Recently discovered, this rare Red Seal from Palo Alto is being offered in auction for the first time.

1881-S Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS-67 (CAC Gold Label) OGH

Superb quality, likely the only gold CAC sticker on a MS-67 Morgan Dollar.

1864 Three-Dollar Gold Piece NGC MS-61 (Rocky Mountain Collection)

Civil War date, that is not often seen on the market.

1970-S Lincoln Cent Large Date. Doubled Die Obverse PCGS MS-65 RD

An elusive Doubled Die variety, one of the best from the whole series (following 1958 and 1969-S)

1864 Two-Cent Piece Small Motto PCGS MS-66 RD

Tied for finest known of this Small Motto Two-Cent piece.

1926-D Standing Liberty Quarter PCGS MS-66 FH (North Shore Collection)

This rare high grade 1926-D Quarter is one of only 11 graded PCGS MS-66 FH.

1867 Shield Nickel Rays PCGS Proof-66 CAC (Gerald Forsythe Collection)
